(Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) is one of the worlds recognised trauma treatments, developed by Francine Shapiro.
EMDR uses the alternate activation of both sides of the brain to process 'stuck' memories that have been unable to go through usual memory processing due to a traumatic response or event.
Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology uses the body's inner wisdom through biofeedback (muscle testing) to balance the mind, body, and emotions.
This modality integrates a variety of evidence-based tools from counselling and psychology, holistic therapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming, and acupressure.
Sandplay Therapy & Symbol Work
Sandplay therapy is a powerful modality that supports children and adults to access and release subconscious emotions, patterns and beliefs.
Sandplay therapy allows clients to process emotions without the need to find the words to express their experience. It provides clarity and insight, and brings about powerful shifts and healing.
Thriving through life transitions
Over the past few years there have been many of us who have needed to navigate major life transitions. Whether it be changes to job or career, relationship breakdowns, relocation or other life transitions. These times can be confronting, confusing and stressful.
If you are looking for clarity, hope, help and assistance in finding your way forwards onto your new path of hope and joy then we can help.
Interpersonal Violence Support
Interpersonal violence is an abuse of power that undermines and destroys a person's right to respect, autonomy and safety.
Education, awareness and counselling around what this looks like and signs to look for, can assist you in gaining confidence and resilience, to empower you to forge strong and healthy relationships both with yourself and others.
